Welcome to
MacDonald Cardrona Resort
The Scottish Open 2025 is the biggest yet, which is what you expect of a WORLD MAJOR!!!

The MacDonald Cardona Resort is a stunning venue, equipped with an exquisite range of rooms and suites which will be in use and outstanding panoramic views over 1 of the 2 custom built premier courses which you will play on during the event.

In Scotland we pay attention to all the small things to make the event a big thing, so make the most of your visit and enjoy the rounds.

A Message From The President:
Welcome to the 6th edition of the official FGAoS Scottish Open. It feels like only yesterday I was writing this section for last years event and every year I get more excited about how much bigger and better our National Open has become!

This year for the 1st time our open has been given the recognition it deserves in the form of FIFG MAJOR status! We also return to the magnificent MacDonald Cardrona Hotel, Golf & Spa.
Last year this venue represented another step in our development as we aim to offer the very best FootGolf venues to you, the players. This year having the benefit of observing the previous tournament we have been able to make subtle but effective changes to both courses that again amplify a venue that in my biased opinion rivals the very best in world of FootGolf! Both courses are challenging and enjoyable in equal measures, they have an array of technical holes to navigate.

I would like to extend a special welcome to the players who have travelled from further afield than Scotland. We have players competing from over 20 different countries which is definitely testament to the quality of event and feedback from last year! I’m sure you will all enjoy the famous Scottish hospitality!
Finally I would like to thank all of the FGAoS committee members & volunteers who have worked tirelessly to make this event happen. Without your hard work none of this would be possible.
ENJOY THE EVENT AND GOOD LUCK!
