THE SCOTTISH OPEN 2026

Everyone loves it, and it is back...the Scottish Open returns to the stunning MacDonald Cardona Resort, set against the scenic Scottish Borders Mountains

With major points up for grabs, the 2026 event will be a 54 hole competition, held over three rounds across three days from Friday 24th July to Sunday 26th July.

And, the massively popular (and unique) Scottish Scramble Pairs event will also take place on the Friday afternoon. Information and registration for the Scramble will be released at a later date.

The Scottish Open 2026 sees us return to the magnificent MacDonald Cardrona Resort in the Scottish Borders situated by the town of Peebles. The 2 bespoke footgolf courses on offer (freshened up from 2025) will truly challenge all your footgolfing talents and showcases what Scotland has to offer!

2025 saw a tight battle for the Scottish Open titles, with Mick Eardley taking the Men's title, Kelly Menzies taking it to the wire against Wales Jen Broughall for the Women's title, Norway's Stein Arnestad take the Senior title and Vania Massimi take the Women's Senior title, they will be expecting tough competition to retain them.

But it was the Super Senior Men's title which was the closest battle in 2025, with Budapest's Csaba Balazsi edging ahead at the end against Netherlands Marcel Peeper and Klaas Wijers, and Turkey's Osman Genc, showing it is all to play for!
