Updated: Mar 4, 2022

Moffat Golf Club has shown fantastic interest in helping develop FootGolf in Scotland by becoming the newest club to be affiliated to The FootGolf Association of Scotland with a brand new social FootGolf course and Club League team.

It's sensational news for The Association to have a new relationship with Moffat Golf Club, it is sure to be one of the best social and competition course in the country. I think the images above say everything really! The Association can't wait to play this course, as it hosts The Scottish Master on the 4th September 2022.

As well as developing a social course, Moffat Golf Club will now be home of Moffat FootGolf Club. Captained by Alan Docherty, and joined by some of the best players in the country to assist in growing the sports in the South of Scotland.

The Moffat Golf Club, commonly known as ‘The Jewel in the South’ was founded in 1884 and is located high on Coats Hill overlooking the town of Moffat. Commanding spectacular views in all directions it is one of the most attractive, varied and interesting inland courses in the country.

Moffat Golf Club Captain James Pock said: "We are now diversifying to introduce an 18 hole FootGolf Course which will be challenging but fun and together with the outstanding scenery, splendid Clubhouse and facilities we believe that The Moffat FootGolf Course will quickly become a favourite amongst FootGolfers both locally and nationally. All levels of abilities and all ages are welcome”.
